Winter 2010/Spring 2011
April 22. Team DYNAMO wishes to thank the sponsorships and support of ISPAR Foundation for the upcoming USA and Pan American SAMBO Championships. ISPAR Foundation is an international non-profit organization devoted to improving senior life and world economy, and proud to sponsor DYNAMO and support SAMBO, because SAMBO is an international, collaborative (taking the best techniques from all over the world) sport and martial art, and has a very active seniors and masters program to promote senior health and participation.
April 21. Team DYNAMO is training daily in preparation of the May 8th, 18th USA and Pan American SAMBO Championship in New York. The team is excited to announce the sponsorship of ISPAR Foundation for this event.
April 21. Pan-American and American SAMBO Federations are extremely thankful for the financial support provided by FIAS in preparation of 2011 Pan-Am Open SAMBO Championship! We are very grateful to FIAS and personally Mr. V.Shestakov for the financial support and appreciate their commitment to this annual Championship. The funding will assist us with the quality of the Championship as well as its marketing/publicity plans.

March 13. Team DYNAMO participated in the CHP Judo Club Tournament at Goltz Judo over the weekend, and brought home trophies in several categories.

Summer Updates:
We had a very busy and well-traveled summer. Coach Brezhnev, Coach CJ and Justin Brezhnev participated in the inagurual SportAccrod Combat Games 2010 in Beijing in early September. This was an invitation only competition, and only the top ranked 12 competitors internationally from each weight class were invited. Our Justin represented team USA at the 74 kg weight class (Combat SAMBO), and practiced/competed admirably against some of the world's top SAMBO combatists.
While there we met with several champions in SAMBO and Wrestling, such as Fedor and Aleksander Emelianenko, and Rulon Gardner. We also visited Shaolin Temple. Here are our photo travel log.

2010 USA SAMBO Open
Team Dynamo had a great showing at the US SAMBO Open in New Jersey, in early May. Participants from 11 countries, including USA, Russia, Ukraine, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Mongolia, Georgia, Lithuania, Kirgizstan and Kazakhstan.
Team Dynamo finished #1 (amongst all clus) with 12 individual medals and qualiied to compete in world event. These are the placements.

Three Judokas medal for Dynamo Club in the 2010 CHP Judo Tournament USJA at Golz Judo Club (Claremont, CA).
Five members of the Beverly Hills based Dynamo Sports Club participated :Skyler Lucci, Alex Dahan, Jonny Usher, Brett and Beau Shane.
Individual silver medal were awarded to Skyler Lucci who competed in the senior elite category.
Alex Dahan and Brett Shane were awarded silver medals in junior categories.
Jonny Usher finished fourth and Beau Shane was injured in early rounds, forced to forfeit by injury default.
