Marty Lockwood wrestled for legendary Hall of Fame Coach Bill Clauder at Monte Vista High School in San Diego. In his junior year, his team won the first ever California High School State Championship in 1973. As a senior, Marty placed 3rd in the California High School State Championships in the 98 lb. weight class. Marty wrestled collegiately for San Jose State University and went to the 1976 Montreal Olympics as an alternate on the Olympic team. He has previously served as Assistant Coach at Monte Vista High School and San Jose State University. Marty is currently the Director of Litigation for BETA Healthcare Group, which provides professional liability insurance for hospitals and physicians. Marty’s stepson, Marshall Stevens, is a freshman on the Norman wrestling team.
