December 1. Team DYNAMO and Beverly Hills High School (the Normans) wrestling team kicked off the 2008-2009 season with a solid third-place for the Varsity, and a second-place for the Junior Varsity, at the prestigious Chaminade Duals Folkstyle Tournament.

Congratulations to all winners, participants and their families, coaches, team administrators and Normans-Dynamo supporters. Team DYNAMO and members of Beverly Hills High School Wrestling team.

First-place Dynamo's finishers:

At 5-0 on the day with four pins, Romeo Soofiani at 285 lbs weight class (Varsity).

At 5-0 with three pins:Nadav Laemmle at 103 lbs (V);

At 5-0 with one pin: Murtaza Abbas at 189 lbs (V)

At 4-1 Matthew Flagel at 171 lbs (Varsity)

At 4-1 with one pin: Elliot Pourtavosi at 140 lbs (JV);

Second-place Dynamo's finishers:

Tal Dahan at 145 lbs (V) and Josh Rezvani at 152 (JV)

Third and fourth place Dynamo's finishers:

Kayvon Pedram (V), Armand Farrokh (V), Kevin Youssian (V) and Daniel Molayem (V)
